Sikhar Dhawan To Receive 30,000 USD Per Match In Nepal Premier

Shikhar Dhawan, the renowned Indian cricketer, will be part of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024, where he is set to earn 30,000 USD per match. Dhawan will play for the Karnali Yaks in four matches during the tournament.

At 38 years old, Dhawan has had an impressive international career, having played 34 Test matches, 167 One Day Internationals, and 68 T20Is for India. Earlier this year, on August 24, he announced his retirement from both international and domestic cricket. Dhawan has also captained the Punjab and Hyderabad IPL teams and was the first player to score consecutive centuries in the league.

The Nepal Premier League will be held from November 30 to December 21 in Kathmandu. Dhawan is the fourth international player to be signed by Karnali Yaks. Sompal Kami will play a key role for the team, while Gyanendra Malla serves as the head coach.
