
Australian all-rounder Ben Cutting has signed with Lumbini Lions for the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL). Cutting is the second foreign player to join the team, following England’s Tom Moores. The 36-year-old has played 4 ODIs and 7 T20Is for Australia, bringing a wealth of experience to the Lions.
The NPL will take place from November 30 to December 21, 2024, in Kathmandu. Lumbini Lions have also appointed Nandan Phadnis as their head coach, with former Nepali cricketer Shakti Gauchan joining as a consultant coach. The team’s marquee player is Rohit Kumar Paudel.
