Sudurpaschim Royals Appoint Brad Hodge as Mentor for NPL 2024
Sudurpaschim Royals have made a big move by appointing Brad Hodge, the former Australian cricketer, as their mentor for the Nepal Premier League (NPL) 2024. The 49-year-old Hodge, a 2007 Cricket World Cup winner with Australia, brings a wealth of experience to the Royals as they prepare for the inaugural season of NPL.
Hodge made his debut for Australia in 2005 after a prolific career in domestic cricket, though his international appearances were limited to just six Tests, 25 ODIs, and 15 T20Is. Despite the limited opportunities at the international level, Hodge became a highly respected figure in world cricket due to his impressive performances in domestic leagues.
Over the course of his career, Hodge played in some of the biggest cricket leagues globally, including the Indian Premier League (IPL), Pakistan Super League (PSL), Big Bash League (BBL), and the Caribbean Premier League (CPL). After retiring, he transitioned into coaching, taking up roles with IPL teams like Gujarat Lions and Punjab Kings.
With his extensive playing and coaching experience, Hodge is expected to be a key figure in helping Sudurpaschim Royals excel in the 2024 season of the NPL.
